Students of Departments of Ocean Technology, Environment, and Policy (Graduate School of Frontier Sciences) and Systems Innovation (School of Engineering) won the race in which they make an autonomous boat powered by solar cells run for the 20 km-course between Makino Sunny Beach and Chikubu Island in Biwa-lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0The team designed and built a boat as project courses in both departments, practiced repeatedly in a towing tank and Lake Sagami.
